Liverpool’s Jewish Students to Get New Center Jewish students in Liverpool, England, will soon welcome a Chabad-Lubavitch center dedicated specifically to their needs and concerns with the arrival of Rabbi Shmuli and Tzivia Brown to the northwestern city of 450,000.
The new building, which measures 400 sq metres (4300 sq foot), is described as one of nicest buildings in the area and is located on one of the main streets of university campus. It will house the expanding activities of the Leeds Student Chabad House directed by Rabbi Michoel and Chana Sara Danow.
Cambridge Synagogue Appoints Rabbi Cambridge Traditional Jewish Congregation has appointed Rabbi Reuven Leigh and his wife Rochel as the synagogue's rabbi and rebbetzin.
The couple moved to Cambridge six year ago to establish Chabad at Cambridge University serving Jewish students. "When we arrived," explains Rabbi Leigh, "we quickly found ourselves intimately involved with the local Jewish community"”
